Deep listening to the mediterranean sea

A cross-disciplinary project combining sound, sculpture, science, and community.

shifting the futures of the mediterranean sea through sound, science, and art.

Bridging the Mediterranean Sea and inland Andalusia, the project combines underwater acoustics, ecological data, embodied listening, and community participation to cultivate ecological literacy grounded in reciprocity and coexistence.

CURRENT FUTURES is a collaborative work and curation of the artists julia flux.

In close collaboration with the artist Hamish Logan, the marine NGO MONTEMERO and the 4D Sound Space MONOM BERLIN, in close exchange with diverse science culture institutes and organisations.
