Dance &bodywork

With over 20 years of experience as a dancer, movement researcher, and somatic practitioner, my contemporary dance practice is deeply informed by Graham technique, Tanztheater infused with Butoh and physical theatre.

My movement language focuses on sculptural forms, expressive arm articulation, and intricate spinal movement, weaving together strength, fragility, tension, and release. Rooted in somatic and choreographic research, I approach the body as both an emotional and elemental landscape — where gesture, rhythm, breath, and presence become tools for transformation, perception, and poetic expression.

Alongside my choreographic research and dance practice, I offer bodywork sessions that weave together Shiatsu, Zen Thai Shiatsu, Swedish massage foundations, and elemental grounding practices. My work is rooted in the Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian system, approaching the body as an interconnected landscape of energy, fascia, emotion, and environment.

Each session is intuitively shaped around your individual body and nervous system. Drawing from a deep understanding of anatomy, fascia, movement, and touch, I combine restorative and therapeutic techniques that support circulation, release, alignment, and regulation.

I often integrate stone-based grounding elements into my sessions, inviting stability, weight, mineral resonance, and reconnection to the body’s elemental intelligence.

Influenced by generative somatics and decades of embodied performance research, I understand the body as inseparable from the wider systems it moves within — social, emotional, ecological, and relational. Through the lens of yin and yang, my sessions are not designed to “fix” you, but to support balance, awareness, and vitality already present within you.

My practice centers feminine bodies while remaining deeply gender-affirming and inclusive. I hold a grounded, intuitive, and non-performative space for rest, release, embodiment, and reconnection.

BACKGROUND
TEACHINGS AND PRACTICES

Shaped and trained the legacy of generative somatics, I understand the body as inseparable from the larger bodies of earth and society. My practice weaves ecological sensing, radical time, and Butoh-influenced presence—slowing enough for something else to emerge. My path moved through human–horse connection, into dance, and into Shiatsu as an art of leaning into what is.With limited hearing, I perceive the field differently—attuning to the emotional and energetic textures you bring. I listen so your story can unfold beyond the mind, and the body can follow.

Rooted in ,my long-term research across desert landscapes—including Jordan, the Naqab Desert in Israel/occupied Palestine, Andalusia, Chile, and European deserts—my work engages with deep ecology and ancient futures, and the entanglement of land, body, and perception. My choreographic works are always forms of embodied inquiry, where movement becomes a method for listening to and translating more-than-human presences.

My projects move between poetic, scientific, and somatic realities, often unfolding as immersive performances, films, and installations. Across these forms, she investigates the body as vessel, transmitter, and threshold—where matter, time, and perception remain in flux.

WORKSHOPS

Contemporary Dance / In Flux A movement practice dedicated to a vibrant, ever-shifting physical language that explores the deeper emotional layers of the body. In Flux focuses on instant composition as a way of accessing presence—where movement arises from sensation rather than pre-structure. Particular attention is given to the articulation of arms and hands as carriers of expression, extending the body’s capacity to communicate subtle inner states. The practice invites a sensual engagement with movement, not as performance alone, but as a lived experience of joy, intensity, and attunement—where the body becomes both source and receiver of affect. Sensual Animals / Spiritual Flesh This workshop explores the body as instinctual, porous, and sensorial—moving between animality and expanded states of awareness. Through guided improvisation, participants access layers of embodied knowledge that exist beneath language, engaging touch, breath, and proximity as compositional tools. The “spiritual flesh” is approached not as abstraction, but as a heightened sensitivity within matter itself—where sensation becomes a gateway to transformation. The practice unfolds as a field of relational intensities, where bodies shift between autonomy and entanglement, opening toward new forms of intimacy and perception.

Talking with Stones A somatic and imaginative practice that approaches the body in dialogue with mineral worlds. This workshop invites participants to slow down perception and enter a state of deep listening—where stones are not inert objects, but carriers of time, pressure, and memory. Through stillness, touch, and subtle movement, the body begins to resonate with the density and temporality of geological matter. Movement emerges from this encounter as a translation of weight, silence, and duration—opening a space where human and non-human presences meet, and where choreography becomes an act of attunement to the more-than-human.

For me Land and Body are inseparable -

my work is shifting our consciousness towards this entanglement through touch, presence and radical sensuality.

MORE THAN HUMAN SENSUALITIES

My work extends the human body to the earth body understanding and acknowleding our profound entanglement.

Trained in my early child years as a horse-human-communicator I currently undergo a deep training by Katharina Gormanns, learning and understanding her ways and methods of fascilitating moments of this deep ancestral co-evolutionary kinship.
